Thanksgiving Meal - Bombay Catholic Sabha

This year, on the first Sunday of October, our Parish offered thanks to God for a bountiful harvest with a Thanksgiving Meal. Sponsored by the Parish and organized by the BCS, the Meal was a beautiful celebration of culture and togetherness. Parishioners donned ethnic wear representing their cultures and geared up for some very engaging performances. They grooved to songs in local languages and even sang live to raucous applause. The performances kept the crowd of over 300 people entertained until lunchtime.

A sumptuous meal featuring crops from the new harvest was then enjoyed by children and adults alike. Volunteers young and old rose to the occasion and took pleasure in serving Parishioners the delicacies that were prepared. While the meal itself was enjoyable, what was perhaps the highlight of the day was the echoes of laughter that could be heard across the Church.
